どうやってメール開封を知るのか

https://sendgrid.kke.co.jp/blog/?p=617 SendGridから送信されるメールにはトラッキングのためにユニークなリンクが埋め込まれています。メールが開封されると、メールクライアントはこのリンクが指す小さな画像を読み込みます。SendGridの統計エンジンは、この画像が読み込まれると、開封イベントとその関連情報（IPアドレスやブラウザのユーザエージェントなど）を記録します。
